Search results: 1 - 5 of 5.

It is either that or there the result hits come back with a total of 1,209 searches. 'This is hilarious', I think. But none of this is really hilarious, because when I painstakingly scrolled down the pages and flicked through the endless pages of the searches - I have to give up - half of them are just not what I am looking for. So, where did I go wrong? What did I do wrong? How? Oh no, hairs' getting thinner! (So stop pulling them! That was what my husband said and asked me to use alternative wordings in search of appropriate and related articles).

I have been spending my time working full-time, studying and rotating between the two papers with assignments due soon and literature searches as well, and my, this is no joke, it is pretty hard when your focus is always on the obvious! What I mean here is, that I may have been looking into the same direction for everything! Searching at the Massey University's online library might not just be the only way to look for the literature needed.

As my team mates offered the idea for searching online from Google Scholar, or just searching online, my search hits were wider and have more information, although most of these literature, journals and articles were not from New Zealand alone, but they did help to give me some insight as to what my topic is about.

Working on this topic: More focus should be given to support the social well-being of the elderly, makes me think about a lot. This is a bad habit of mine, when I simply let my mind wander, it will travel far and wide and came up with lots of dots for me to connect things. In this case, since I am in hospitality, I met a lot of different people. Observed a lot of things, when I talked to them, especially the elderly, they told me about current lifestyle, what they like doing, what is amiss and what they missed. I was surprised to find myself 'seeing' that many things, in fact, are connected - like how transportation affects them, how their physical health failure is bearing them down, you can almost see that they are yearning for their loved ones to see them but too far away; but then, will all these information work for me? I am yet to reorganize my thoughts and test them all out.

So, with all the 'mind wandering', pondering and also searching, I will still need to continue reading effectively and continue my search to make sure that I am able to get my points right. Well, where will this lead me now? Continue the hard labour of searching still, well, we cannot simply give up, can't we? So, stay tune and happy reading!

I love your use of title, it's punchy and attention grabbing! I too have experienced the same problem with the Massey library server - there just isn't enough information relevant to what I'm looking for. I've started using google scholar too, it has a much wider range of resources available. You could also try science direct, this has a good array of resources as well!
